Law Firm Receptionist - Part Time
This is a part time receptionist position for a small Personal Injury law firm that has a newly opened office located at 11300 4 th Street N, St Pete. The work hours are either 10AM-2PM M-F or 9AM-1PM M-F (up for discussion). There may be volumes of scanning and copy work assigned by the attorneys. Acknowledging and greeting potential and current clients will be especially important as we are introducing ourselves to the St Pete area.
Qualifications:
Must have:
Excellent customer service skills, be an initiative-taker/self-motivator.
A pleasant demeanor and verbal communication skills.
Working knowledge to navigate through and utilize Microsoft Office 365.
Ability to learn and adapt to the legal office work environment.
Using legal software is something this person can learn.

Law Firm Assistant-Personal Injury
This is not a remote position
Positions available in Lakeland office
Duties include but not limited to:
- File high volume of legal documents (physically and electronically)
- Maintain integrity of physical client files
- Support case managers, paralegals, and receptionist
- Data entry regarding confidential client information
- Perform general office duties such as typing, operating office machines, and sorting mail
Qualifications:
- Qualified candidates must have the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to learn to answer multi-line digital phone system as back-up
- Self-motivated, detail oriented, well organized with ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Ability to learn, apply and retain procedural information
- Ability to learn to recognize documents as they pertain to our area of law,
- Flexible, courteous, and professional attitude
- Physically able to lift file boxes weighing approximately 30lbs.
Requirements:
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office-Outlook software and basic computer skills (Word, Excel, etc.)
- Available to work 40 hours per week MTWThF – 8AM to 5PM
- Prior office experience is helpful but not required

Law Firm Litigation Assistant-Personal Injury

- Legal secretary/paralegal must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Preparation of pleadings including, but not limited to, subpoenas and notices.
- Coordination/scheduling of meetings, appointments, depositions, mediations and arbitrations
- Managing deadlines, assisting in preparing attorneys for appointments.
- Drafting and composing typing routine correspondence, reading and routing of incoming mail, taking calls from clients, attorneys, adjusters, J.A.'s, opposing counsel, etc.
- Excellent secretarial and clerical skills (telephone & computer) required.
- Assisting in the organizing and managing of files, both electronic and physical
- Data entry
Skills:
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
- Ability to write simple correspondence.
- Organized, self-motivated, with the ability to work independently with a great attitude.
- Good communication and customer service skills (must be professional and courteous).
