Law Firm Clerical Assistant-Personal Injury - IMMEDIATE OPENING

This is not a remote position

Positions available in Lakeland office

Duties include but not limited to:

• File high volume of legal documents (physically and electronically)
• Maintain integrity of physical client files
• Support case managers, paralegals, and receptionist
• Data entry regarding confidential client information
• Perform general office duties such as typing, operating office machines, and sorting mail

Qualifications:

• Qualified candidates must have the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to learn to answer multi-line digital phone system as back-up
• Self-motivated, detail oriented, well organized with ability to work both independently and as part of a team
• Ability to learn, apply and retain procedural information
• Ability to learn to recognize documents as they pertain to our area of law,
• Flexible, courteous, and professional attitude
• Physically able to lift file boxes weighing approximately 30lbs.

Requirements:

• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office-Outlook software and basic computer skills (Word, Excel, etc.)
• Available to work 40 hours per week MTWThF – 8AM to 5PM
• Prior office experience is helpful but not required
